I was looking at the new photos of Dita Von Teese on gettyimages when I remembered how much I adored the Dolce and Gabbana ads with Sherilyn Fenn. I thought she was stunning, the movie Two Moon Junction was a cult favorite among my circle of friends and she was damn perfect in one of my all time favorite television shows Twin Peaks. Sherilynn's best pics are the ones she did with the men's white shirt and the Clark Kent glasses. I think that shoot was for GQ back in the day. Anyhow, I love that she is on Gilmore Girls now. That show was one of my waning guilty pleasures, and I almost gave up on it when they brought in Sebastian Bach. LOL! (In case you missed it, he actually did a bad cover of a Gwen Stefani song last season.) But having Sherilynn play Lorelei's alter ego was a brilliant strategy, so I'm hooked back into it. It's pretty funny to see how they brought in a new smart kid to take over when Alexis Bledell leaves. She's pretty much mentally checked out as Rory, so it is just a matter of time before "April" becomes the new perfect child.
I had NO IDEA that Fenn was working again. I can not find the WB on my television anymore. Heavy sigh.
The famous shot was from her Details spread. I still have the mag somewhere. I should scan it one day. I knew you would appreciate this post.

Ugghh. I put in Details first, and then I changed it to GQ. Julia Roberts did the famous GQ cover in the men's shirt. Duh!
Sherilynn has a new part on Gilmore Girls. I think she's been on about 6 shows. She's got shorter hair and is a little chunkier now, but I just adore her. She runs a really cool vintage clothing store on the show. She plays the mother of Luke's newly discovered daughter. The good thing about WB shows is that you can catch up on DVD pretty quickly. This season will probably be out soon. You can check her out then. Or maybe there are GG fan sites that have pictures of her, too.
